Jag is supporting the active team to develop a school stem program that will enable 3 primary schools to be supported over six weeks. The program will introduce design and innovation to the schools along with 3D printers and basic electronics.
Jag has been tasked with looking at processing data cable for a client and use our knowledge of sustainability to create a new material. The material will be formed from the recycled material with additional waste additives to create something useful.
Jag was invited to sit on a group reviewing innovative new products by the national centre for ageing in Newcastle. The group included a number of specialists from around the region to review ‘infuriating objects’ and look at their viability.
Jag has been helping Pollywood make some mods to a machine we helped build last year to enable them to produce an innovative product. The modifications should allow the machine to create the product for the power grid market.
Jag was part of the review team of the recent research carried out by Sunderland university on the Active project. The excellent research identified some areas that could be developed further by the Active team on their innovative product.
Jag was asked to catch up with some ex colleagues in early February to discuss a potential collaborative project on a new dental product. The product will help young children with dental issues and using artificial intelligence to identify issues.
